Children's Ministry
Children's Prayer Chapel
In the main hallway in the Main Building (across from the Parlor) you will notice our Prayer Room. This is a place that is designated for intercession for our neighbors as well as our pastors, church leaders, and the various ministries within the church.
Right now, the room is designated for Children and their Parents in an effort to help the Children understand not only how to pray, but why prayer is important. In this room they can:
1. Pray for specific groups in your community: law enforcement officers, firefighters, school children, teachers, and so on.
2. Learn about different forms of prayer and pray for specific situations in your community.
3. Have seven different "hands on, touchy, feely" experiences that teach them that prayer is a conversation and communication with God.
The prayer room will be "updated" occasionally throughout the year so that children can have new experiences with prayer.
