Reverend Jerry P. Galloway
Rev. Jerry P. Galloway was born and raised in and around Corpus Christi, Texas. He went to three different high schools: W.B. Ray in Corpus; Martin Behrman in New Orleans, La.; and Lamar Consolidated in Rosenberg, Texas where he graduated in 1969. He then attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (Drama and Speech) w/certification to teach high school in 1974. He worked as a computer operator; in radio sales and promotion, delivered eggs, in an employment agency, drilled holes in bowling balls, and ended his "wilderness wanderings" in a mid-level management position with a nationwide courier service at Love Field in Dallas. He answered a "renewed" or "revisited' call to ministry at the age of 37. Jerry enrolled in Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University and in 1992 graduated with a Masters of Divinity (MDiv) degree.
Rev. Galloway began serving churches in 1988. He was appointed a Part-time Local Pastor at the 1st UMC in Colleyville. He moved to Central UMC in Waco where he served as Associate Pastor for three years while commuting to SMU. Upon graduation he assumed his first full time appointment at the Early/Zephyr Charge in the Brownwood District. Six years later he was appointed as the 2nd Pastor to the Alliance UMC, a new church start in north Fort Worth. Rev. Galloway was appointed to the 1st UMC of Waxahachie in June of 2005.

Worth policeman, married to Leslie and lives in Sunset, Texas; and Christi, who is a radiological staff assistant, is married to Cecil and lives in Bowie, Texas.
